Scholarship
Denise Bruce, 2008-2009 Chairman of Gulfport Little Theatre, awards Chris Rehmann of Gulfport with the Baxley-McDaniel Scholarship award of $1,000 presented annually by the theatre. Students interested in pursuing a college education in performing arts are encouraged to apply for this annual scholarship.
Chris recently graduated from Gulfport High School and has appeared in numerous productions on the Gulf Coast for Wings Performing Arts, Gulfport Little Theatre, and Admiral Little Theatre. His most recent roles were Don Lockwood in Singin’ in the Rain (Wings) and Major General in Pirates of Penzance (GLT). Chris
is attending New York University and is majoring in drama.
The Board of Gulfport Little Theatre would like to congratulate all the applicants for this scholarship and extend their best wishes to all those pursuing a higher education and a career in the performing arts.
